ABOUT MOZAL:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

The purpose of the role is to provide operational support by maintaining the plant, equipment and infrastructure effectively and in compliance with work instructions and defined processes, and work schedules to achieve optimal maintenance outcomes.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Execution of maintenance activities according to the weekly work schedule and unscheduled work as required;

• Executes maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant HSE standards;

• Assists in developing and enhancing work instructions and procedures.

• Reports events and work requirements in a timely and accurate manner;

• Update work requests with an accurate scope of work, to support effective planning of work;

• Maintain the Mozal maintenance facilities in acceptable standard;

• Take of the tools and equipment;

• Provides input to Maintenance Analysis and Improvement sub-function for engineering modifications needed for plant and equipment;

• Provides feedback to Maintenance Supervisor on improvement opportunities;

• Builds cross-functional relationships with the Operational sub-functions to support maintenance;

• Complies with the 1 SAP Work Management processes related to work identification, execution and the capturing of related historical transactional data into 1 SAP;

• Provides input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of action items affecting equipment reliability.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial environment;

• Ability to speak and write in English.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Applicants must have Medium Technician qualification as Mechanical or Electrical from an Industrial Institute and Trade Test qualification.
