Our client in Tete is looking for Auto Electrician to join their team for a job vacancy within the Mining Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in heavy equipment using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.

• Install, maintain, and repair vehicle electrical systems including wiring, lighting, ignition, alternators, batteries, and control panels.

• Perform soldering tasks for wiring, circuit boards, and electrical components to ensure strong and durable connections.

• Replace and repair defective wiring, relays, switches, fuses, and other components.

• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems.

• Test repaired systems and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma/certification in Auto Electrics, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or related field.

• 3–5 years of proven experience as an Auto Electrician working with heavy machinery.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and hydraulic control systems.

• Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring repair, and electrical assembly.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and soldering equipment safely and effectively.

• Experience with Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, or other heavy equipment brands is an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
